Microwave Safe, Dishwasher Safe, Lead-Free

A fellow member of the Allegany Artisans, Joe Dosh, asked me to make tiles for his oak tables.  

The tiles looked so nice that, when my husband was rebuilding our fireplace mantle, we decided to work tiles into the design.

That looked great so we then decided that we needed an additional 120 tiles to cover the hearth.  

Tiles can  be used individually as decorative accents or worked into a backsplash, wall or other creation.

There are 2 folk art chickens with dancing garlic set into metal trays - these may hang on a wall and be used for bread servers or fruit trays.

These were made especially for the Cuba Garlic Festival 2007.  The other chicken is pictured on the About page.

These fish and bird tiles are about 9x12 inches.  These tiles are embedded in my desktop but can be worked into a design or made into a wall hanging or trivet.

Do you have a mouse house?  It leans against the baseboard to allow the city mouse or country mouse to go home at night.  If it doesn't work for that, it always gives a smile.
