Earrings - one of a kind of copper or recycled tin cans

Ear wires are of Nickel Free ------hypoallergenic ----- kind to all ears
----- surgical implant quality metal

These are parts of cookie tins and metal serving trays that have been cut to form earrings. They are shown below, left, as finished earrings.

All beads are from old jewelry or other found materials. Marvelously colored tins make their way to me. I find them or people leave them on the porch or the stop me when I'm downtown and give me great tin colors. I use the colors that the tin come to mewith, cut them and make light weight earrings. I also use bits of plastic, game pieces, found objects or steel wire. My materials keep changing.

The thing that doesn't change is that the earwires are safe for any ear. Made of the same material as surgical implants, these niobium ear wires will not irritate.

Many earrings have images on the back sides. Many have edges folded over a millimeter or two to create safe edges.

Hammered copper earrings and necklace sets.

An earring bowl holds earrings on the rim and bracelets or necklaces inside. Earring bowls may come in any color. This one is tapioca with tomato soup and butterscotch drips on the edges. There is one dark sprig on what might be seen as the front.

Earrings may be symetrical or not. They are always related by color or shape but sometimes the material doesn't allow for an exact match.

Sometimes I make bracelets with hammered copper and sometimes with copper wire and beads. Bracelets can be stored inside the earring bowl.
